Possible Book Covers for Treasure Chest of Memories

Elevator Pitch (in process)

Treasure Chest of Memories: Sharing the Stories of Your Life guides and enables hobbyists to create a collection of their (episodic) memories for their loved ones to cherish. This memory-compilers ’companion not only introduces topics, but also sparks recall and creativity with in-depth brainstorming exercises and various writing samples. Writing tips help writers avoid pitfalls while refraining from imposing any particular style onto these memory-collectors, allowing them to take pride in their projects.

Treasure Chest of Memories guides hobby-writers and helps them decide what kind of “chests” they want to create, what “treasures” they want to put in each individual chest,  how often they want to fill it, as well as how, when, and to what extent they want to share its contents. Treasure Chest of Memories gives a timeless hobby a modern twist: it guides writers through memory-sharing options that include social media as well as the more traditional format of a ink-and-paper journal to preserve their memories.

  1. Hi Laura,

I favor 5.1 H. I like the inclusion of an actual treasure chest. I think the thumb drive and CD in addition to the other mementos keep it from suggesting just an elderly collection. Good luck with your project.

  2. I’m with joe. I can’t tell you why, but 5.1H just looked like the “most professional” design. Good luck!

  3. I was attracted by TreasureNew1, but with the added sentence “How to capture and share the stories etc.”I think I really liked the treasure chest in that one!

    • I made the same note Mary did: the graphic and design on TreasureNew1 is the book I would pick up–if it included that line “How to capture and share the stories of your life with those you love”

      • Thanks Cindy, that matters. We all know that you’ve picked up the odd book to purchase in the past.

    • Thanks Mary!

  4. I like the crispness and coloring of 5.1A
It shows the potential of filling the treasure chest. And because its uncluttered it makes the project/task look “do-able.”

I like the font of 5.1G but not sure how it will blend with the cover I chose.

    This is exciting! Good luck!

  5. Bob and I both liked 5.1 C if you add the tag line of ‘how to capture etc”. The word ‘of’ is missing from Treasure New 1 in case you hadn’t noticed and it becomes a contender.(it’s attractive but we liked C better)
